Question by MonsterMan: What is the best scope to put on my 7mm mag for elk hunting?
I am planning an elk hunting trip two or three years in advance. To prepare I want the best scope for my 7mm mag. What are your suggestions? Please note, I've read all the "it depends..." advice I can stand. I'm interested in your opinion of a specific scope with brand name, power, etc.

Given the context, I'd suggest Leupold VariX III 1.75-6x.

Man if that doesn’t get your heart pumping, you have no hunting ancestory. That was an aggressive bull, and a beauty! Takes a lot of talent and knowledge to be able to call them in that close. Most times they pick up a smell, or a movement and are gone. Sorry it took me this long to find this video. Fantastic job.

Next time don’t label a video elk hunting unless you actually shoot. This is very misleading. Make sure you shoot next time.
