Or do you hunt ground that this is so close to the road that you can slip and hunt it on the way to or from work. You know the place that is easy for folks to slip-in and get to stand if they don't see your car or truck parked near by. Ever get to your ladder stand after a long week at work, big dreams and plans for great hunt and there you find "evidence" that it has been used in your absence? You know what I mean, candy bar wrappers littering the ground, or your gun/safety rail bent. Or worst yet, you get to your ladder stand only to find that someone is already sitting in it! Now you have a problem, you have to get them out, and regardless their willingness to leave the area is so affected with noise and scent that you have go somewhere else to hunt. I hunt a mix of public and highly trespassed private ground. I have had many of the problems mentioned above. That is why I invented this device. It prevents access to my stand. No one can access it unless you give them the key! I also keep a ladder stand on the back side of my house for practice. I use this device to keep the neighborhood kids from climbing on my stand.
