Questions they asked me! Do I have any record class animals? Am I registered in any of the books? Am I an ethical hunter? What level of sponsorship am I needing and why? What other credintials do I have? My hunting and fishing knowledge? What will this do for there company? These are a few of the questions I was asked by most of the companies I contacted so good luck!! Start with smaller market and local companies for sponsors. U need a gimmick something that will be spotted by bigger companies. Ken Tucker's SPortsman Showcase is a classic example. DO a hunt that no one else is doing. Tons of turkey and deer shows, tons of waterfowl shows but hit the odd balls hunting trips. Maybe a squirrel or possum hunt something NO ONE is shooting and air it on a cable access. THen you need exposure to the bigs. Send a copy to Versus or Outdoor Network. Go cheap on the first one or two films, and if they work out very well, then you might be able to up your price some.
