Though I can admire and appreciate the use of the new “cam bow”. I have always been a traditional bow hunting enthusiast. Great video, really makes hunting worth hunting, back to the old ways. Great job and nice clean shots. I know that they are not always that way.

sorry doug, thats not a traditional longbow. its a recurve with straight limbs. call it what it is man. still better than a compound but it aint no longbow.

noooo its a longbow dude, a slighty reflex/deflexed longbow, recurves are totally different, with a recurve, once strung will have the string touched both limbs, , also you have curves in the bow pointing away from you, thats how u know u have a recurve

man wish i wasnt broke, i was jsut wondering though how do you go about gettin your videos on a dvd to sell, i would think it would be difficult?

Thanks for the good words. I worked hard on the whole thing. BTW I used 3 different type longbows bows in the vid. 2 take downs and a 1 piece. I made 2 of them. 1 of the takedowns had almost straight limbs. Didn’t want to call it “hunting with this kind and that kind and this other style longbow”. So just called it a season with a longbow. Lots of designs fall into the longbow category. I personally like the flatbow design of the eastern N american indians the best.
