The hunt is happening because of a loophole in international law but if enough people protested I am sure they would stop. Boycotting products made from Japanese companies would be a great start. While I know the companies have nothing to do with it, economic pressure is likely to work the fastest.

I understand your concern. Would it be ok if they farm raised whales for food like the the US and the rest of the world does with cows, chickens, pigs, deer, salmon, snails, frogs, trout, etc.? you know the list goes on.

well one thing is that pellet gun are usually not power-full enuf to take down a gray squirrel but in my opinion i would use a 22. cal rifle using hollow point bullets
